Working in the Veterinary field i couldn't not talk about this briefly... bones like this or even antlers can be dangerous to your dog. The reason is the bone could not only splinter and cause lacerations to the mouth or throat, but could also break teeth. Of course this is my opinion and outlook, and have seen this happen to dogs, its always important to monitor your pets with treats like these.
